Postpartum Recovery
& Reconnection
You've been through something extraordinary. Your body deserves intentional care as it heals, recovers, and reconnects.
The postpartum period is transformative, and it often comes with physical and emotional demands that can make your own recovery feel secondary.
You Don’t Have to Figure Out Postpartum Recovery Alone.
You deserve more than a brief clearance—you deserve care that truly supports you & your healing. Whether your postpartum journey includes a newborn in your arms, time in the NICU, adoption, surrogacy, pregnancy loss, or infant loss, your body deserves care, support, and healing.
At Pelvic Connections, we focus on helping you reconnect with your body, restore strength, and navigate postpartum changes with expert guidance, so you can step into this next chapter feeling confident, supported, and strong.
When should you start
Postpartum Pelvic Floor Therapy?
Many people are advised to wait until their six-week postpartum visit to begin thinking about recovery.
In reality, support can—and often should—start much earlier.
The first weeks after birth are a key window in your healing process. As your body begins to recover and your life adjusts, the right guidance can make a meaningful difference in how supported you feel.
At Pelvic Connections, postpartum care may include:
Early-stage support and education to help you understand what’s normal, process your birth experience, and navigate early symptoms with clarity and reassurance
In-person manual therapy and treatment to support healing from vaginal birth or C-section, address pelvic floor symptoms, and reconnect core function
Intentional rebuilding of strength and stability so you can gradually return to movement, exercise, and daily life with confidence
Postpartum recovery isn’t defined by a single appointment or clearance. It’s a gradual process of rebuilding—physically and functionally—with consistent support along the way.
“From the very beginning, I was treated with so much care, compassion, and respect while helping me through my symptoms.”
